Apr 28 2015 c = q/v

This is the quiz that tests us to set up the equation based on determine the correct direction for the current, and the concept that for each loop, the net voltage is 0.

We are introducing a new concept, capacity. At this point, we are trying to find the correct relationship between the capacity and the distance they separated. Our prediction is there is a inverse function relationship between capacity and the distance they separated by.

After measure the capacity and the distance separated by, we used logo pro plot this graph. We reach a conclusion that our prediction is correct.

we perform a simple calculation of determine the capacity by the formula and conslusion we have from previous activity.

we determine capacity in series and parallel circuit. Unlike resistance, the net capacity in series and parallel connection is opposite, which the net capacity in parallel is the sum of all individual capacity, and capacity in series connection is just like resistor in parallel connection.

Given a circuit containing capacity, we firstly simplify the circuit into a more readable diagram, and then we use the rule above to calculate the total capacity.

Summrize: Capacity is defined with C = Q/V. However, like resistance, it is not influenced by Q and V, it is determined by the distance separated by(also material). The net capacity in parallel connection is calculated in the same way that net resistance in series connection, and capacity in the series is same as resistance in parallel connection. The relationship between distance and capacity is a inverse function relationship.
